Dear Orchid Friends,

    It is time to finalize your plans for the 78th Santa Barbara International Orchid Show!   March 20-22, 2026, daily 9am-5pm at Earl Warren Showgrounds (3400 Calle Real, SB 93105)  www.sborchidshow.com

The 2026 theme is “Orchid Escape” with an emphasis on an explosion of flowing color.  Vendor Hall full of local, regional, and international orchid growers.  Pre-paid hands-on workshops & Show tours.  Frequent free orchid-potting and culture demonstrations.   Pre-paid specialty evening events Thursday (Yoga), Friday (live DJ with after-hours vibe), & Saturday (Gourmet 4-course dinner), so you may want to get an hotel room and spend the weekend in the beautiful Santa Barbara. 

Santa Barbara Orchid Estate has a concurrent Open House here at our nursery (1250 Orchid Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93111).   Please park inside on our grass parking lots.

Sunday March 22, 2026: 9am-4pm

Dendrobium speciosum, Cymbidium hybrids, Encyclia hybrids, Cattleyas, Australian Dendrobium hybrids.   Both a lot at SBOE and a little in our SBIOS display, we will honor the life and illustrate the orchid philosophy of the late Paul Gripp, who died in early January 2026.
