Orchid of the Day: May 15, 2016
Epicattleya Rosy Tondato
We have found many of the encyclias and their hybrids to be one of the highlights of summer. Flowers are far above the foliage giving a delicate but colorful presentation. This cultivar, from the cross of the Encyclia adenocaule and Epicat. Picaboa, produces inflorescences with 3" lavender flowers. As with many of our orchids, this one can be grown out with the cymbidiums or in with the cattleyas.Temperature Tolerant. July blooming.
