Oncidium pumilum
This is a fascinating, dwarf, "mule-eared" Oncidium. The petite, rigid flowers are so densely packed on their branching inflorescences that they give the appearance of fuzzy, bunched columns of yellow and green. In general the rigid plant a flowers of this species looks very much like some kind of succulent. This species has recently been moved to the genus Lophiaris. Overall height when in bloom is approximately seven inches.Intermediate growing. May-June blooming. Species from Brazil and Paraguay.
