Cattleya Latona seedlings
These seedlings come from the cross between two outstanding color forms of the showy Latona hybrid: one of fiery reds and yellows, the other of pastel dawn-like blushes of pinks and oranges. There is no way of knowing ahead of time which color form each seedling may express, but as you can see in the picture above whichever colors a seedling favors they put on quite the show!
In terms of the plants' foliage and overall height, both parents strongly represent the large plant-size of their Cattleya purpurata parent, with height of pseudobulb and leaf combined to stand about 20 inches tall when mature. We expect these seedlings to be about the same height once they are established specimens, adding another 12 inches or more when in bloom. Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may be similar, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in precise color or shape. There is no way to tell ahead of time exactly which colors and display each seedling will favor: enjoy the surprise! Temperature Tolerant. June blooming. Prices start at: $35.00 Plus shipping and handling. |
