One of our favorite orchids! It has an distinctive shape with an unusually large lip. The petals are creamy-white, the sepals a light pink, and the white lip has a stripe of yellow and red throat. A very hardy, a rewarding plant that blooms periodically throughout the year!
A primary hybrid between Rhyncholaelia (syn.Brassovola) glauca and Laelia anceps. The resulting intergeneric genus name was recently reclassifeied as Laecholaelia.
