This South American species is an enduring favorite of ours, due to its clouds of bright yellow flowers, tolerance of cold seasonal temperatures ( at our nursery it went down to 26 degrees F for 2 hours - without any problems!), and its ease and willingness to bloom. To accommodate its climbing nature, many customers mount them on cork slabs or tie them into slatted wooden baskets.
