Vanda Java Jive
Vanda Java Jive
Colorful seedlings from this outstanding cross between the fragrant, spotted, Vanda tricolor var. suavis (from Java and Bali) and the robust-growing and superbly colorful Vanda Manuel Torres. The vibrant seedlings bloom in a range of colors, pinks, magentas, violet-"blues", and all overlaid with spots and speckles! The above photo shows three siblings' flowers for example.

We grow these alongside the Cymbidiums where they thrive even when nighttime lows dip down to 32 degrees F! Note that at freezing temperatures or wet spells some leaf-spots are expected to occur on the leaves of these Vandas, so keep this in mind if you want to take steps to maintain pristine foliage.

Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may be similar, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in color or shape. There is no way to tell before they blossom exactly which colors and display each seedling will express. Enjoy the surprise!

Temperature Tolerant. November - December blooming.
