One of our most free-flowering and super compact Sarcochillus hybrids! These seedlings are characterized by their excellent red markings: some are nearly solid red (see example photo) like parent Sarc. Hot Santa, while others have shown spots over pale lavender (not pictured) as with their other parent, Sarc. Sweet Melody. The foliage is very compact, growing to an overall height of about 4 to 5 inches, making them superb for miniature orchid collections, or as vibrant companion plant to outdoor Cymbidiums or indoor Cattleyas.
Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may have some similarities, yet each seedling is unique and no two are identical in precise color, markings, or shape. There is no way to tell ahead of time which colors and display a seedling will favor. Enjoy the surprise!
Temperature Tolerant. March blooming.
