Delicate shape and intense golden-orange color characterize the flowers from this primary hybrid. Its' parents are two rupiculous (rock-dwelling) Brazilian species: Cattleya cinnabarina and Cattleya crispata (formerly L. flava). The colorful flowers have a boldly pointed star-shape, with flute-like lips accented by fine, bright red stripes. Each elegant cluster of blossoms is displayed far above the foliage by a tall, slender stem. We have had great success growing this plant both indoors with light-loving Cattleyas and outdoors with our Cymbidiums.
