The larger flowers make a particularly spectacular display with the foliage of this miniature plant! The off-white blooms of this excellent Australian species have a deep yellow lip marking, and many give off a subtle sweet aroma; a very rare quality among Sarcochilus. Flowers bloom as a spray-like cluster along an arching to pendant stem. The foliage remains compact, growing in the same nearly succulent, mono-podial (fan-like) fashion that is typical to this genus. Thrives either indoors, or outdoors.
From the cross between the awarded cultivar 'SanBar Marvel' HCC/AOS, that blooms flowers measuring 3.8 cm (nearly 1.5 inches) across, and another select and large-flowered form.
Established blooming-size seedlings small slabs of cork bark. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination, as siblings these may be similar, yet each is unique and no two are identical in precise color or shape.
