With bright red polka-dots overlaid onto an orange base color, the two inch flowers of this Renanthera place it among the most charming of the genus. The flowers bloom in profusion along upright-to-arching stems. A compact grower, the overall height, including flower stem, of these young seedlings is approximately 12 inches, but large specimens can reach 24 inches and taller! A native to the island of Luzon in the Philippines, this species grows best under indoors with Phalaenopsis type conditions. However, we have also grown it satisfactorily outside with the Cymbidiums.
Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; these siblings may be very similar, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in precise color or shape.
