Isochilus major
This rare species from Central American is admired for both its' foliage and flowers. The foliage grows as graceful stalks, each with many leaves that overlap in a braid-like fashion up the length of the stalk. The flowers bloom at the top of the stalk as a two inch arc of densely-packed magenta blossoms. The overall height of the plant is approximately 18 inches tall.
