These delicate bronze and pink hues are the key feature of this distinctive color-form of this Brazilian Cattleya species. The most striking difference is the lip: the cream background with a gentle, pink blush. The lip is framed by waxy petals of bonze coloring, achieved by a green background overlaid with coppery-brown hues.
Flowers may open pale and green, but rapidly gain the bronze and pink colors with bright light conditions. This light-loving and free-blooming species develops especially tall foliage, and this variety often has greenery over two feet tall on large specimens!
Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may be similar, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in precise color or shape.
Temperature Tolerant. September blooming. Species from Brazil.
