A charming, miniature native of Southeast Asia that grows either as an epiphyte (on trees), or lithophyte (on rocks) in nature. The rounded, crystalline blooms are a blush pink with deep pink on the lip. The flowers bloom along an upright inflorescence and bloom sequentially, which extends the flowering time. These miniature plants have terete, monopodial foliage that lends it a succulent-like charm. Because of its affinity for bright light, this plant thrive best when grown in indoor Cattleya conditions. Until recently these plants were classified as Vandas, and this species' synonym is syn. Vanda amesiana. .Intermediate growing. June blooming. Species from South East Asia.
