As our most compact-growing variety of this superbly vivacious hybrid - it really is the 'bee's knees'! The vigor and beauty of this stunning hybrid are preserved while the growth habit of these plants is much more neat and tidy! 'Bee's Knees' has densely packed foliage thanks to its diminutive rhizomes, and its foliage also measures about four inches shorter than on typical specimens. Compact foliage means less repotting and more bench space!
A vibrant splash-petaled variety from the cross between Laelia anceps 'Mendenhall' and Laeliocattleya Maris Song. The sepals are a soft pink hue, the petals and lip are gently ruffled and boldly patterned in magenta and pink, and, topping it all off, the lip displays a butter-yellow cast around its burgundy center.
