This plant has received no less than 16 American Orchid Society awards for its flower and cultural quality! With its rich, almost cherry-red color, its free-blooming character, and tendency to form specimens quickly, the awards are well deserved. It is a compact-growing plant with an overall height of only about eight inches on a blooming size plant. From the cross of Guarianthe aurantiaca by Cattleya Anzac (1918) made by the legendary Stewart's orchid nursery and registered in 1962.
