So colorful and compact! A truly miniature plant, only about seven inches tall, and yet each flower is about 3 inches across! Vibrant magenta-pink flowers have a salmon-red tint and lips of dark pink with yellow at the throat. A great outdoor grower and Cymbidium companion, they grow into quality specimen plants when allowed to 'overgrow' over their pots, or baskets!.
This miniature primary-hybrid has the charm of both its Brazilian species parents, Cattleya coccinea and Cattleya pumila. A point of historical interest: this hybrid is named for Mr. Orpet, an early horticulturist.
Established blooming-size divisions from our mother-plant.
