The wonderful flowers of this primary hybrid change color as they bloom : they open as a soft yellow and next develop a gentle salmon tint, then they steadily blush a distinctive lavender-hued pink, all before finally fading to white!
Like with most Cattleyas, these blooms show their most vivid color when bloomed in bright, filtered light. The flowers are bloomed in arching to cascading sprays upon the tall, slender foliage.
This plant is from the cross between two gorgeous Brazilian species: Cattleya (syn.Laelia) harpophylla and Cattleya harrisoniana (syn. harrisoniae) fma. alba. According to the most recent taxonomy, this primary hybrid has been reclassified to the Cattleya genus.
